I’ve made random paintings over a period of approximately 20 years

and never regarded them as pieces of art in any way.

To me,

they were significant expressions of either dreams or events

that touched me on a soul level.

That’s all.

In 2018

I decided to have a website built indicating what I was about to offer.

As part of this endeavour

I wanted a backdrop of my artwork to somehow beautify a page.

My website designer asked me to have the art pieces scanned professionally

to increase the quality of the prints.

I had them all laminated over the years to protect them, but the plastic covering was inhibiting the quality on photos.

As part of this process the printer reduced the size of the big paintings

to fit many pictures on to one A4 size page.

I saw how beautiful the images looked in reduced format

and immediately saw the potential for them

to become cards!

My website designer showed me how to get the images on to Canva.

I started designing the messages and questions on the cards,

relevant to the energy of whatever dream or event

that initially manifested the original painting.

Many hours, moons and months later

the paintings found their way into my deck of cards.

Voila!

And here we are!

I believe the messages of the cards have been channelled through me

because I cannot remember them

and they feel new to me each time I read them.

People who use them often say it is uncanny how they get the exact message that has meaning for them.

In their simplicity they are profound

because there lies a meaningful experience or dream in each card.

I am deeply grateful for Spirit birthing them through me.

For showing me the potential

and helping me to persevere through much hard labour

to finally create them.

For giving me the sincere passion that lies

within each and every one of them.

They are truly a work of love!
